Our Bed; Book & Breakfast has been approved to open for essential services / personnel who need accommodation while they are attending essential service in this area. Our Bed; Book & Breakfast lies in the center of Melville and is therefore easy accessible when working in Hospitals, Clinics, Shelters, and offices in this area. We are close to the WITS & UJ University; Milpark Hospital, SABC TV Studio’s; Jo’burg CBD. 

During Covid-19 Lock down we have 2 rooms available for essential service workers. You will find free Wifi - Coffee and tea facility – TV screen with SABC bouquet – en-suite bathroom – heater or extra blankets during winter time. Parking is free for our guests.

WHEN BOOKING:

• We do everything we can during your stay to make you feel comfortable safe and healthy. Our rooms are ready for you. We are required to follow the WHO regulations, the local South African Health Agency latest COVID-19 developments and the CDC Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We are guided by the Government and public health officials. Appropriate health and safety measures are in place and will regularly be checked by the Health Department.

WHAT TO DO BEFORE YOU STAY: 

As our guest you need to provide permits for essential work to book a room.

• On the letterhead of the Company a letter requesting accommodation (this is the employer of the essential worker) with contact details, name and surname of the director / CEO of the company; CIPC registration number of the company. The letter must be signed and stamped. 
  
• Name and surname + certified ID copy of the essential worker requesting accommodation.
• Expected date of arrival and departure.
  

WHEN YOU STAY WITH US:

With regard to the COVID-19 regulations and requirements the following is important to know:

• We offer no sit-down breakfast but we can deliver a basic breakfast package to your room.
  
• Diner is not provided but you can arrange delivery diner using UBER-eat or Mister delivery or direct via some of the restaurants in Melville who are open for delivery. A list of restaurants is available at the reception and on the website https://ilovemelville.co.za When booking for delivery please inform the management.
• Our B&B health and safety measures are updated every day in accordance with the COVID-19 regulations. We cover everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning procedures for the rooms and public space.
• Hand sanitiser is available when entering the B&B, at the reception, in common areas and in your room for our staff and guests.
• While entering and cleaning your room we will wear necessary protection. 
• Common areas and bathroom will be sanitized and disinfected on a regular bases. 
  

We are aware that this lock-down period is not comfortable and can be very unsetting for all of us whether we are working, travelling, being with family and friends. We as the owners of Be-My-Guest Bed; Book & Breakfast would like to let you know that your safety and your health are our priority while staying with us and that you will feel comfortable.
