LOAD SHEDDING (NO POWER)
Load shedding (no power) and no water disturbs the rhythm of the day for the citizens and our guests in Melville. Guests of our B&B must be aware of the fact that taking a shower is not always possible and that power and WiFi is not always available. Due to load shedding we are not always available for bookings as we cannot guarantee our service and hospitality.

About Our Rooms

All our en-suite rooms are very comfortable and have 2 single beds (Queen-size) or a double bed. You will find a lovely shower, heater and extra blankets during winter time and you have access to a small private garden. There is wifi, a flat screen with DSTV – (hotel bouquette), a safe for valuables; and tea & coffee facilities available for you. 
The big green lush garden and the lovely patio are easily accessible from all our rooms.

On arrival our rooms are available from 14:00. At departure we kindly ask our guests to vacate the room before 10:00. We offer safe inside parking for our guests or guarded parking on the street for busses, 4x4 and cars with rooftop tent. Our premises is a wifi Hotspot. Our Bed Book & Breakfast has a non-smoking policy and smoking is restricted to the garden.

We offer a nice and healthy breakfast; Juice, Oats, Cereals, Yoghurt, Fresh fruit, Coffee & Tea, Bread and also warm breakfast like e.g scrambled eggs with back bacon and tomatoes; eggs sunny side or easy over.

Due to the lack of rain during the rainy season and due to maintenance by the City of Jo’burg water & electricity will sometimes be affected.  Eskom the national electricity provider has announced “Load Shedding” throughout the year. 
BE-MY-GUEST Bed Book & Breakfast is not responsible for these electricity and water interruptions and we will try to assist with solar lights and extra water bottles in case of interruptions.
